CalNex was a joint project of The California Air Resources Board (CARB), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the California Energy Commission (CEC).  This project was a joint field study of atmospheric processes over California and the eastern Pacific coastal region in 2010.  The PMEL Atmospheric Chemistry Group made Aerosol chemical, physical, and optical measurements aboard the R/V Atlantis from May 14 through June 8, 2010.
