Post Cruise Ronald H Brown Data from TexAQS-2006 GoMACCS

The following data are available:
- Cruise data from the NOAA-PMEL Data
Server
- Underway SCS data from the Ship's
Survey Department. At the end of the cruise the Chief Survey Tech on
the ship gave Tim Bates 3 CD disks containing the data that was
requested by the Scientific party. These three disks have been
compressed into 3 Zip files available below for downloading. The files
and directory structure are mostly self explanatory. Please note. A few
files on both Disk1 and Disk3 were unreadable and are not in the zip
files. I will try to get a replacement disks soon from the ship and the
files below will be updated at that time. If you have any questions
please contact Jim Johnson (james.e.johnson@noaa.gov)
- Disk1 (102MB): SCS_events.zip
- Disk2 (94MB): rawdata_a.zip
- Disk3 (98MB): rawdata_b.zip
- 1 minute ship position data
- 1 second ship position data
- Leg1: (99MB) texaqs_RHB_position_1sec_leg1.dat
- Leg2: (95MB) texaqs_RHB_position_1sec_leg2.dat
- 1 second ship position data (compressed)
- Leg 1: (20.4 MB) texaqs_RHB_position_1sec_leg1.zip
- Leg 2: (19.5 MB) texaqs_RHB_position_1sec_leg2.zip
Both the one minute and one second position files have been made from a combination of the PMEL GPS data and the ship SCS GPS data. Each file has all minutes/seconds for each leg.
