0600 – Filter change (tower and vans)

0700 – Radiosonde launch (19th)

0800 – Radiosonde launch (20th)

0930 – Ozonesonde launch

1200 – CTD/Optical cast station ops

(SeaWifs satellite passes: 19th ~1301L; 20th ~1310L)
    1. CTD w/ bottle samples at 0m, 10m, 30m, 50m, 200m, 300m
    2. RADS drifter (deploy/recover)
    3. Optical cast to 300m

1800 – Quick filter change (vans only)

1900 – Radiosonde launch (19th)

2000 – Radiosonde launch (20th)

1930 (19th) – Weather discussion in ship’s library

2000 (20th) – Science talk in ship’s library:

Bruce Doddridge on U.Md. ACE/INDOEX research

2400 – Quick filter change (Aero van only)

 

Notes:

  1. All personnel accessing the tower should log in w/ AL Van (ext. 161) and check with Bridge (ext. 125)
  2. Access to forward part of 0-2 van deck (except for transit to/from vans) and the bow area is restricted during scientific sampling ops – check with AL van (ext. 161)
