DAY N+1: Upper levels: low over central Europa moving eastward;
ridge-line over northern
Atlantic, giving subsidence. East winds over the whole area. Low levels:
strong high over
northwestward Iberian peninsula moving eastward, favoring european
poluted-air outbreak
over the ACE2 area. Ne winds around 18kt on average. Scattered to broken
cloudiness,
increasing toward Canaries and Madeira.
DAY N+2: The high is over norhern Iberian peninsula, advecting
antropogenic air over the whole ACE2 area. Winds: NE, around 15 kt on
average. Scattered to broken cloudiness, increasing around Canaries. The
MBL-top will decrease due to subsidence and advection.
DAY N+3: The situation is similar to the N+w day. The high is to the
north Iberian peninsula, advecting dust-air over the ACE2 area. The
MBL-top and the amount of cloudiness will
decrease
DAY N+4: 1000 low over northern Atlantic, moving eastward and starting
to advect clean air over the area. The MBL-top and the amount of
cloudiness continue decreasing.

1. 2nd LAGRANGIAN flight successfully completed. Balloon follows
predicted trajectories
2. 3 A/C CloudyCOLUMN in clean air but broken clouds. Co-ordination with
Pelican OK.

Saturday
3. Continuation of full LAGR, with Pelican making 0900Z 4th flight, and
C130 making 2100Z 5th flight
4. clear LAGR between Sagres and ship, without C130 but with ARAT.
Sagres balloon release at 0700Z

Sunday
5. Expected start of full polluted LAGRANGIAN with C130 2100Z flight
6. ARAT stands by from Sun 1200Z till Mon 1200Z
