ST meeting 0626 Thursday

Meteo outlook
DAY N+1, N+2: 
Upper levels: westerly flow over the whole ACE-2 area. lower levels: low of 996 over Northern
France, stationary, whith a cold front associated, affecting Sagres and the Northern ACE-2
area. This will increase the cloudines and depth of clouds also. Possibly some rain over this
area and increase of MBL-depth with the pass of the front tail. The anticyclon over Azores is
moving northwards. Wind: N around 13 kts.

DAY N+3, N+4: 
Upper levels: westerly flow will continue. Lower levels: the low over northern France will
move slowly towards the NE. The MBL will continue increasing lightly and possibly fog in
Izaņa. There is a relative high S of the Azores extending towards the E. Winds: N component,
around 12 kt in the N and 17 kt in the S of the ACE2 area.

Operations

Today
1. 3 A/C CLOUDYCOLUMN in clean air with Merlin, Dornier and C130
successfully 
completed. Clean air ClOUDYC. experiments now are low priority.
2. Pelican and Citation on ground
3. Ship left Sagres without delivery of receiver.

Friday
4. No pollution expected upwind Tenerife. No CLOUDYC.
5. Two Pelican test /calibration flights. Other A/C on the ground
6. Sagres LIDAR report expected in the evening, for planning Saturday.
7. Report of FSSP intercomp. and 2 CLOOUDYC's at ST meeting

Saturday
8. No European pollution expected before next Tuesday
9. Clean air full LAGRANGIAN planned to start in the morning, 
with ship at 40N00' 15W00'.
