Lower levels: The low of 996 is now over northern France almost stationary, with the cold front over southern Iberian moving southward to reach Sagres and the ACE-2 area.This will increase cloudiness and depth of clouds also around Sagres. Possibly, some rain over the area and increase of MBL-depth with the pass of the front-tail. The anticyclone over Azores will move and extend northwards and the wind will blow from the north around 15 kts over the whole area, advecting clean air at all levels in the S of the area. DAY N+3, N+4 : Meteorological situation is quite similar to N+2 with a relative low over Iberian. The weather conditions will be the same as on day N+2. The MBL depth will continue to increase lightly and possibly fog in Izana. Northerly winds around 15 kts and maybe advection of polluted air from the UK and Ireland, in the lowest 2 km. Only partially successful because of malfunctioning balloon transmitter. 2. Successful clean air CLOUDYCOLUM with Merlin and Dornier. Closure possible in first half of the flight 3. HILLCLOUD canceled last night, due to lack of cloud. 4. Pelican on the ground. Thursday 5. 3 A/C CLOUDYCOLUMN with C130. Clean conditions. Briefing at 7.30 UTC. 6. Pelican on the ground. 7. Ship to stay near Sagres for delivery. Should leave at least at 12.00 on track Friday 6. (Polluted ?) air expected coming from near UK. 7.
