Hi ship mates.

-I think your expected course should be clear from the ST minutes
-Apart from the OnLine data you already sent, can you sent other data
from the ship/Sagres
intercomparison. That's a request from Sagres. 
-Note that at 36N30' 13W00' you are on a trajectory connecting with
Tenerife. We should
do that as often as possible.
-In order to check whether yr soundings are on GTS we'd need the "WMO
header of the bulletin of the ship" and not only the label ENQT
-Operations are running smoothly here, but we  haven't done that many
missions yet: a lot
of instrumentation problems on the A/C. Still 5 weeks to go.

DAY N+1,
Upper level: Weak Northerly component flow over the whole area. Subsidence. Clean air
is expected to be advected. Low levels: Low moving slowly Easthward, over Denmark.
High pressure remains over Azores, extending towards North of Iberian Peninsula. Sky
clear in Sagres; scattered clouds over Northern part ACE2 area, increasing cloudines
-broken to overcast- just North of Tenerife. Posible drizzle in the North of the islands.
Winds: NE 12 kt over the North of the area; around 16kt in the South. 
DAY N+2, 
Upper level: North component flow advecting clean air. Lower levels: 
High pressures 1028 hPa
over Azores extending towards North Iberian Peninsula. Winds: NE 14 kt.
Skay clear in Sagres. Scattered clouds Northern part of area, incresing Southward.
Posible drizzle at North of islands. No changes in top/base of clouds.
DAY N+3,
Upper levels: Weak NW flow, advecting clean air. Lower levels:
Anticyclone of 1024
hPa over Azores, extending towards Iberian Peninsula. Winds: N 16 kt, veering NE at
the Southern part of ACE2 area. Sky clear over Sagres. Scattered clouds in Nothern
area, increasing to broken Southward, and broken to overcast just North of Tenerife.
DAY N+4
Upper levels: NW flow advecting clean air over the whole area. Lower
levels: weak anticyclon -1024 hPa- over Azores. Low relative pressure in the North of
Africa. Winds: N around 12 kt. Scattered clouds in the Norther part of the ACE2 area;
increasing to broken Southward; broken to overcast just North of Tenerife. Posible
drizzle in the North of islands. No changes top/base of clouds.

1. C130 and Pelican test flights did co-ordinate for a.o. radiometer
intercomp.
    C130 to report on wake studies
2. Sagres/ship intercomparison  completed in the early morning.
    Ship left for 36N30' 13W00' where it is expected after midnight

Monday
3.  Pelican to perform CLEARCOLUMN (Task 1.3) possibly east of  Islands
4. C130 at the ground
5. Ship to stay at 36N30' 13W00' as long as possible (see 6.)

Tuesday
5. BW trajectories for Sagres hug Iberian coast. Clear skies predicted
over Sagres
6. Ship expected at 35N00' 9W00'  at 06.00 UTC for possible clear
LAGRANGIAN + 
clear COLUMN (Mission 2). Clear + Full LAGRANGIAN (M9) seems unlikely

Wednesday
7. Possible start for full LAGRANGIAN at middle of R/V racetrack.
